Since ancient times, subclinical bone changes have been studied in numerous ways. For example, in electricity it can distinguish between normal and abnormal things, but in biological anthropology it is particularly useful for answering questions about people and their diachronic and synchronic variability. This work offers a simple presentation of the bone modifications of the postcranial bones (from the spine to the feet), which are sometimes poorly understood by the scientific community. These changes are examined one by one with definitions, population frequencies, and full descriptions of each. Subclinical bone deformities of the postcranial human skeleton serve as a comprehensive reference guide for further study of this type of bone deformation.
