Sixth Annual Radiation Oncology Course for Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners 2023
The course’s goal is to broaden knowledge and bring together practice activities, such as care coordination and treatment throughout the radiation oncology departments of the Mayo Clinic’s Midwest locations. Regarding symptom management and patient care during radiation treatments, information is disseminated to all advanced practice clinicians in the specialty.

Learning Goals

Determine the effects of radiation therapy in both curative and palliative contexts.
