With a focus on information and abilities relevant to medical practice, our eighth annual “Board Review and Update in Pulmonary, Sleep, and Critical Care Medicine” will offer an update on recent significant clinical advancements as well as a review of important subjects in pulmonary, sleep, and critical care medicine. The course is intended to fulfill the educational requirements of the following individuals: allied health professionals (particularly nurse practitioners and physician assistants) who specialize in these fields; intensivists; pulmonologists; pulmonary and critical care fellows; residents in training; and others. The three days of the course are split evenly between critical care and pulmonary medicine. themes covered include lung cancer, interstitial lung diseases, pulmonary vascular diseases, respiratory failure, shock, and some specific ICU management themes. In addition to several complimentary pre-recorded lectures in pulmonary, sleep, and critical care medicine that are available for download, including particular Covid-19 presentations, the program offers embedded board review questions and specialized board review sessions.
